“I was trying to park my vehicle, suddenly gas pedal got stuck and I hit another vehicle and ran in to the bushes, my car has a body damage and also I accidentally hit another car as well. The core reason for this issue is gas pedal getting locked, this is the first time I experience this in the vehicle which I bought by 2011.”

NHTSA complaint #10365785, filed 2010-11, 50,000 miles

“On two occassions I thought I was stepping on the brake but the car surged backwards. I was able to stop but not before hitting a car behind me. The second time I hit a fence in a school parking lot while picking up young children. It was dismissal time so there were many 3-4 grade children around.”
