“The airbag safety light has come on and remained on for 2 weeks the dealership told me it's a failed sensor. I have never been on a car crash. The airbag sensor is expected to remain functional for the life of the vehicle. Otherwise, my airbag might deploy unexpectedly or fail to deploy when I need them.”

NHTSA complaint #11354096, filed 2020-09, 138,000 miles

“Car steering went out-started going to the left-I could not turn it back-car crossed the left lane-hit the ditch embankment-turned down the ditch-hit a culprit-car flew into the air-almost hit a tree trunk-flew through tree branches-came down and hit the next culprit,-this happened as I was driving down a county road about 2:00 in the afternoon.”

NHTSA complaint #10918544, filed 2016-10, 98,800 miles

“I was in a car accident with a light pole no caught of mine e the front end of my car smashed in and my air bag didn't deploy a d when my foot was on the brakes and the car accelerated with the gas with out me hitting it.”

NHTSA complaint #11310912, filed 2020-02, 156,358 miles

“I t-boned a car at 50mph, got rear-ended and spun around 3 times and hit the guardrail and then preceded to bounce off that. No brakes applied, no time to apply. Not one, out of 10 airbags deployed. Not a one! The car is totaled , all sides have damage. Even the police thought there was something wrong with the airbags. This is not right. I bought it for safety and it failed me. Big time.”

NHTSA complaint #10532042, filed 2013-07, 3,750 miles

“I have a Toyota camery 2013. I have no accident at all since I bought this car. But about 1 year ago, my airbag light is on automatically with on reason. I felt my life is in danger because if there is a collision happens, my airbag wont pump out. I have visited to different car dealor. They said the wire circuit might be wrong since they tried to switch airbag modules or the sensor nothing works so far. I assume the airbag which is the key component for our drivers' safety should be more robust than what I experienced.”
