“The contact owned a 2024 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated that while the vehicle was stopped on a curb with another vehicle approximately 8 -10 feet ahead, the brake pedal was depressed to shift into park; however, the vehicle independently accelerated. The contact stated that because of the failure, the contact's vehicle rear-ended the Honda CR-V vehicle that was parked in front of the contact's vehicle. The contact stated that the vehicle's speed was only 3–4 MPH. No air bags deployed. The other vehicle sustained damage to the rear bumper. …”
