“When initially starting the vehicle, when at a complete stop, the vehicle lags when pressing the accelerator. It’s almost as if the vehicle doesn’t recognize that I’m pressing it at all and I have to reset my foot and start the process over. There is a slight incline hill that has a stop sign that I come to everyday after work and this happens maybe twice a week.”
NHTSA complaint #11711329, filed 2026-01“This has happened a few times. I go to pull out of a parking lot needing to cross traffic and the truck hesitates and then feels like it punches it across the intersection. I’ve had people have to slam on their brakes thinking I just stalled in the middle. Should have been able to make it with no incident but I just avoid trying to cross quickly now.”
NHTSA complaint #11643429, filed 2025-02“From the start, I would say after a few months of having my vehicle I had EBS issues and after that I had my vehicle shut down while I was driving and go into limp mode at it said engine reduce power or reduce engine power and it has done that four times This last time it said reduce engine power and all mercy breaking systems failed. …”
NHTSA complaint #11639978, filed 2025-01“Driving down the road, my sunroof exploded. Sun shade was pulled so no injury. Dealer would not diagnose other than saying glass just doesn’t explode so must have been hit by something. I don’t believe that is the case. Easily as likely a manufacturer defect from the factory. I have had the truck for less than a year with 11000 miles”
NHTSA complaint #11653380, filed 2025-04“When I am coming to a stop , but not a complete stop ( such as at a yield sign) the vehicle hesitates when I hit the throttle. It takes a second for the truck to engage. This is very dangerous. I believe that this could potentially cause a collision due to the vehicle not beginning motion when the throttle is pushed.”
