“Bmw 2011 has only 88,000 miles and both high pressure fuel pumps need to be replaced at a cost of $1400. The car was in motion and said powertrain malfunction, the car slows down on the road which can cause an accident, starts jerking and spitting white smoke. This is a know problem under sib130215 which states only production dates between jan 2011 and dec 2011. My production date was oct 2010. The same problem exists with many of the n63 engine cars. Please take a look at this problem as it seems to be a defect in the engineering of the vehicleand not necessarily the parts. …”

The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the fuel injectors needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 73,000.”
