“Our 2017 Chevrolet SILVERADO 1500 was purchased new from the dealership in august 2017. The tires that came with the truck are continental crosscontact lx20. I began to notice chunks of rubber tread coming off of all 4 tires when they had approximately 27,000 miles. I had them inspected at the dealership due to safety concerns. I was told it was normal wear for these tires. The tires are rated for 70,000 miles. I currently have 36,500 miles on my vehicle and took it in for regular maintenance and tire rotation. I was told that the tires needed to be replaced due to pitting and chunking. …”

The leak was slow enough that I was able to drive 2 miles to a exit and stop at a gas station. When I got out I could hear the air leaking from the tire but could not see any visible issue yet. …”
