“Feb 5th 2019 my truck was parked in my driveway and the blockheater eas plugged into my electrical outlet on my garage and at 1:00 a.m. I was awakened to a loud explosion. When I finally figured out the cause my truck and garage were on fire. 3 months later found out GM had recalled almost 400,000 trucks my same year, make and model due to engineblock heater cords shorting out apparently. I have yet to receive a notice on my truck. The accident was a total loss and there was damage done to my garage. ## VIN passed ## chevy SILVERADO 2500 hd 2017 ##”

“The engine glow plugs keep failing, I have replaced 4 already and 2 more are now failed. The vehicle only has 66K miles on it currently and the failures started around 50K. I do not understand why this hasn't been recalled like the 2018 trucks, they share the exact same engine.”
