“The instrument panel on 1995 Concorde went dead, no activity since 2003. Chrysler dealership does not know how to fix the problem. Currently I am trying to sell the car and cannot. NHTSA complaint #10118165, filed 2005-04, 60,000 miles

“My vehicle does not change into second gear. I found out while I was in heavy traffic and became a hazard to other drivers. When in reverse, it has a clunk noise when the gas is applied. The problem came all of a sudden without warning. There are also computer and ignition problems with this vehicle. It sounds like there is crackling in the dashboard when the heater is on, the ignition switch cannot be turned all the way to the on position when the car is on or the ABS light will come on and prevents function of the heater.”

It blew fuses connected to the gauges and the radiator. The travel center was disconnected. There was a place on the inside of the travel center where it was evident that it had burned. No prior problems with vehicle and vehicle was regularly serviced.”

NHTSA complaint #10124059, filed 2005-06, 99,509 miles

“Recall did not resolve the problem with the fuel rail o ring and numerous other expenditures after their repair. The service the consumer received did not correct the problem he was having. The consumer was not able to shut off the engine because the transaxle floor shifter would not go into the park position. The problem created transmission problems. The consumer would like to be reimbursed for money spent on repairs. The consumer stated when he drives over a bump in the road the gear shift would pop out of drive and into neutral. The water pump was leaking and the gaskets were replaced. …”

NHTSA complaint #10106814, filed 2005-04, 97,506 miles

“Car spins as a result of intermittant transmission downshifts when right turn signal is used causing the transmission to downshift violently. The transmission has been replaced twice. Two dealers unable to find any electrical problem. When traveling at 65 MPH on wet pavement and the transmission downshifts the car wants to spin in a clockwise direction.”
