“These vehicles have a bald problem with the tires going bald way too soon and that is a safety hazard they shouldn't have to be replaced every 10,000 miles I always got new tires at 45,000 to 60,000 but now I cant wait that long. I've seen many of other complaints about this not just me. I did plenty of research before I filed a complaint about this..”

“In january, the suspension on our 2004 Chrysler Pacifica (purchased 08/2003), seemed to have issues. A web search to investigate, LED me to a much more serious issue that effects '04 and '05 pacificas. I had our mechanic inspect the frame and sure enough, we were one of the many affected. Our mechanic told us the car was no longer safe to drive, and that the compromised frame caused the front right wheel to shift inwards. We were quoted between 4,000 and 5,000 dollars for our repairs. The car now sits in the garage as we hope for a resolution. …”

NHTSA complaint #10578110, filed 2014-04, 68,000 miles

“No summary. Sudden loss of air in two tires causing car to go out of control, striking a mail box and a tree. This car was only a week old and had less than 400 miles on it.”

NHTSA complaint #10050894, filed 2003-12, 400 miles

“Is Chrysler doing anything about the bad rims they put on the Pacifica? Having to air my tires daily, I've change the tires 3 times, removed the sensors, and having a multitude of service people check them. When all the while it was the rims which have cracks and are difficult to find. Did Chrysler issue a recall on the rims or are we on our own?”

NHTSA complaint #10467020, filed 2012-07

“I been having my Chrysler Pacifica 2004 for 7 months. I had to fix my left passenger axle, shock, water pump, radiator, passenger upper motor mount, the tank for the water, fuel injector line, two tune ups, air filter, fuses, brake lights and tires. Thing that is broke, the passenger window elevator, and my AC.”
