“Today is the second time my power window broke. 3 months ago the driver side rear window fell out of the track and it cost $275 to repair. Glass was ok. Today when I put the drivers window down the window shattered as it dropped down inside. I have owned Chrysler products since 1952 and never had this problem.”

NHTSA complaint #10208558, filed 2007-11, 37,750 miles

“The windshield wipers and electrical systems failed during a mild rain. We got the vehicle to a Chrysler dealer and contracted for them to put it on the lift. We've learned that the main wiring harnesses on many 2004 pacificas - such as ours - have collected water for years due to their design on the 2004 Pacifica, and have completely corroded. This substantially compromised our safety, as we exited the road having lost windshield wipers, all electrical, etc., we attempted to use the horn which also was no longer working.”

NHTSA complaint #10478658, filed 2012-10, 130,000 miles

“2004 Chrysler Pacifica. No accidents ever. 74k miles. Defrost and foot heater both quit working at the same time. No one has any idea how to fix the problem. My windshield ices up and I can't see to drive.”

NHTSA complaint #10252697, filed 2008-12, 174,000 miles

“First of all we purchased our 2004 Chrysler pacificia a little over two years ago and after about 2 weeks I noticed a visibility issue. At first I thought it was simply new car adjustment issues. However, this issue on visibility never went away. The first incident occurred backing up in my bank parking lot...bam! Where did that pole come from? Cost $850. My deductible $500. The second occurrence happened in my driveway. Again backing up. This time the coast was clear before I got into the car. Next thing I heard [as I was looking back was a crunch. …”

NHTSA complaint #10147732, filed 2006-01, 70,000 miles

“1-my 2004 Pacifica will not start at times. Sometimes 2 weeks can go by without incident, then the car will not start until I hold my foot on the gas. The dealer claims that unless it happens while at their shop, they cannot do anything. 2- the drivers side mirror will change position and make a sound like gears trying to engage but cannot. Again, the dealer could not find a problem although it happens each time I use it. 3- I complained about the transmission being sluggish from a parked position until it passes first gear. They told me they could not find a problem. …”
