“2004 Chrysler Pacifica with approx. 46,000 miles logged. Electric seats, driver and passenger no longer adjust. Also, driver memory and pedal height adjustment inoperative. As my spouse and I are about 12 different in height, she is no longer able to drive the car. When she attempted to drive it, she was up against the steering wheel and said it was too dangerous.”

NHTSA complaint #10197768, filed 2007-07, 46,000 miles

“Power seats, driver memory, pedal height adjustment all failed simultaneously at about 58,000 miles. My wife is about a foot shorter than me, and cannot, therefore, drive the car anymore. I contacted Chrysler, and they were no help.”

NHTSA complaint #10214668, filed 2008-01, 58,000 miles

“Both electric seat adjusters just stopped working. The driver's side seat is so far back that it's not really safe to be driving, and both seats are stuck in an uncomfortable position. The driver's side seat is stuck in the exit the car position, so it must have stopped working last sunday when I drove it and then parked it for the night. Now it's too far back for me to operate safely and I am sadly disappointed in Chrysler. This should be fixed for free in my opinion, because I see many complaints online about the same problem. What a piece of junk.”

NHTSA complaint #10468996, filed 2012-08, 54,000 miles

“Have had many instances where the power seats in my 2004 Chrysler paciffica were not able to move. This has happened in instances in which it poses a significant driver safety issue. On one occasion my wife had to drive the vehicle with her body almost pinned against the steering wheel. This seems to be a known problem with many Chrysler Pacifica's, I have brought it to two separate dealers, and they both admit they had many occurrences of this. There are at least two separate technical service bulletins relating to this issue. They refuse too perform any services under a safety alert. …”

NHTSA complaint #10187225, filed 2007-04, 5,000 miles

“While entering a construction zone on interstate 95 on mayland near perryville, I was travelling approximately 10 MPH and was struck from the rear by a mazda 6 traveling at a higher rate of speed. There were no skid marks. When my car, a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica was struck in the rear, the drivers seatback failed and I was thrown in the back seat against my 14 year old daughter. The seatback crushed her knee and she was taken to teh hospital. The passanger side front seat also failed in a similar fachion and my wife slide into my 12 year old, she was not injured. …”
