“The electrical component on moving my seats failed years ago. I've had electrical lights/ glitches in the dash showing problems with the airbag. This past weekend, I took my 2005 Chrysler Pacifica in for repairs to the alternator and was informed the cradle/frame suspension on my vehicle is rusted through. The mechanic informed me that this framing should not rust through if it was coated properly and if it continues to rust through, the engine block will drop out. I was quoted over $2,000 to purchase a used part and to complete the repairs.”

NHTSA complaint #10786069, filed 2015-10, 131,000 miles

“I noticed a strange odor when I drove the car from the lot. I thought it was the new the leather smell, but later found out that the driver's side of the car was leaking. I took it to the dealer and they attempted to fix the leak four (4) time. It still is not fixed. Now other things are starting to happen, the passengers power seat no longer reclines, the radio will just quit working and so does the A/C.”

NHTSA complaint #10093123, filed 2004-09, 18 miles

“On february 9,2007 I was rear ended at a high rate of speed while driving my car at around 45 MPH. This resulted in my knees slaming into the dash area and then falling back very hard in my seat, which ended up laying flat.”

NHTSA complaint #10183615, filed 2007-02, 32,000 miles

“During the first week of june, 2006 I noticed a few things that seemed to all begin at the same time. My Pacifica would not start right away when I first attempted to start it after it had been sitting over night, it would hesitate when I took off from a stop if I had been on a downhill incline and the gas gauge would drop to empty as soon as the tank was down to five-eighths full. The problem went away as soon as I filled the tank, but the next week it happened again when the tank got down to five-eighths. …”

NHTSA complaint #10162872, filed 2006-07, 21,000 miles

“Just two weeks before the ABS sensor light came on (at 38000 miles), we had the car serviced for faulty power seat control. The seat started to adjust on its own, the message stated that there was a problem with the memory selection. However, we had not programmed seating positions. In fact, we didn't have the keypad! The ABS sensor came on suddenly. I was driving at a low speed of around 30 MPH. I heard a rolling noise and felt the rolling or scrubbing underfoot. Two weeks after that I began to hear the sound without engaging the brakes. We've had problems from the beginning. …”
