“My 2006 Chrysler Pacifica has severe case of wind buffering noise . Any time you roll a rear window down while driving at any speed it sounds as if there is a helicopter landing on the back seat. I notified my dealer several times and they say there isn't much they can do. It is a huge safety hazard driving down the road if you accidentally roll the window down. There is 3200 miles on the car and the dealer pretty much said oh well!”
NHTSA complaint #10175162, filed 2006-12, 25 miles“Driving my car, no noticeable problems. I pulled into my driveway and I saw a lot of fluid on the driveway. I was extremely concerned, checked all my fluids which were ok. Took the car to the dealer and they couldn't find a problem. I then started noticing the car riding rough and idling rough along with a 'banging when starting or stopping at redlights. Took the car to the local mechanic who was not told anything about these issues (there for unrelated item) and was informed I have a bad motor mount. He asked if I noticed 3 specific items.. Uh.. Yah... All the things I told the dealer! …”

While driving in a storm, the windshield wipers and power windows failed, and the instrument cluster warning indicators illuminated. The dealer diagnosed that the power module needed to be replaced. NHTSA complaint #10983777, filed 2017-05, 122,000 miles“The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that the interior window glass and windshield become frosted all around the vehicle. The dealer stated that nothing could be done because the vehicle was designed in that manner. The failure mileage was 33,000. Updated 03-27-09 updated 03/31/09.”
NHTSA complaint #10261567, filed 2009-03, 33,000 miles“The contact stated two days after purchasing the vehicle a percussion noise was noticed coming from the rear windows. The rear windows were down at the time of the noise. The vehicle was taken to the service dealer who suggested one of the front windows be placed in an open position along with rear to reduce noise. The noise is present at all times, but is more severe at speeds above 30 MPH. Contact claimed it was a design defect. Updated 06/01/2006.”
