“The first time it happened we were driving in town going little under 30mph and went over railroad tracks and the whole car shuts down... Now anytime we're driving and go over any little bump or railroad tracks the car shuts down and I have to put in park and restart the car. The car also shuts down with any touch of the key in the ignition.”

NHTSA complaint #11206843, filed 2019-05, 120,000 miles

“I have a 2012 Chrysler town & country. Its started intermittently not shifting out of park. I can shut it off and turn it back on then it will work. Sometimes I have to restart it a few times before it will work. This happens whether it is initially parked and not running, our if its already running and I put it into park and try to put it back into drive (such as putting in park to wait on a train)”

NHTSA complaint #11350355, filed 2020-08, 130,000 miles

“Traveling on the highway at approximately 55mph the van shuts down. No power whatsoever. This has happened to us 3 times while traveling this speed on a busy road. I travel with two handicapped sons in wheelchairs and this has been a very scary experience all 3 times. Nobody can tell us what is wrong and they don't even know where to begin to look. Now my boys are confined at home without a vehicle for me to drive them.”

NHTSA complaint #11324211, filed 2020-05, 130,000 miles

“I own 2012 Chrysler Town And Country. I found that if I drive 15mph front door, sliding door and rear hatch will be locked. After I hear lock sound, I can still open front driver and passenger door while I am driving. Even I can open both front door while I am driving at 70mph. I rent a 2015 Chrysler 200 at airport, found that same issue.”

NHTSA complaint #10717378, filed 2015-05, 40,000 miles

“The automatic sliding doors and lift gate are a safety risk for my three young children. I am assuming this minivan is marketed toward families with young children like mine. My seven year old son has been pushed off of his feet by the sliding door as it closed. I am a grown woman and was injured by the lift gate closing on me. The sensors are not adjustable for sensitivity according to my local dealership.”
