“We were driving home from thanksgiving break on the highway when we heard a loud pop. My husband thought my daughter had thrown something at his head. We looked back and she was asleep. We turned on the lights to see what happened and we found the head test had popped out. My husband had a slight headache after but we cannot get the headrest fixed.”

NHTSA complaint #11389706, filed 2021-01, 75,000 miles

“Drivers seat active headrest internal plastic parts failed and deployed the headrest and hit my wife in the back of the head while driving. Lucky she wasn't in heavy traffic or turning when it happened. Upon my further inspection the active system was still intact. The plastic parts failed violently releasing the headrest.”

NHTSA complaint #11277742, filed 2019-11, 112,000 miles

“The AC in our car just stopped working. We went to an independent car repair shop to find out that the AC compressor works and that there are 100% no leaks in the system. Can't find the issue even tho we went there twice. They told us that it turns on just fine and wants to work but doesn't blow cold air.”

NHTSA complaint #11204154, filed 2019-04, 64,000 miles

“While parked, my drivers side headrest deployed like it would in an accident, we were not hit by any other car nor was I in any sort of accident. Just parked when it hit me in the back of the head causing an instant migraine and neck pain. There is no way to reattach it.”

NHTSA complaint #11330853, filed 2020-06, 86,802 miles

“Vehicle was shifted into park, but running, in my driveway. Got out to let passengers out. Turned around to get back in and car started driving itself forward, almost hitting my child. Managed to jump in and stop it after it hit my husband's car with the open driver door. The shifter knob has moved itself into the drive position and actually shifted gears without the brake being pressed.”

NHTSA complaint #10993073, filed 2017-06, 60,150 miles
