The contact stated that while driving approximately 30-35 MPH, the hood flew open, struck and cracked the windshield, completely obstructing the driver's visibility. The contact pulled over to the curb and then into a parking lot. The contact stated that he was disabled, and that the failure was significantly frightening. The contact was shaking for 30 minutes after the failure. …”
