“3 of the 4 tires on my 1995 Ford pickup have blown out while on the highway by the entire outside sidewall coming apart. Two in the past week. Date below is latest of the three. Trail mark radial apv 235/75r15's. (this size is not available on your list of models numbers, so disregard any but this number.) also, this complaint is for only one of the three tires that have failed for me, all the same size/ model.”

“Bought a used Ford F-150 equipped with wilderness at's. Steering pulled to the right. On 7-13-00, took it to have the front end alligned. Was told the truck would never drive right with those tires. A month later firestone recalls but not the tires I have. Now firestone is replacing recalls with the same bad tires that I am stuck with.( DOT number: w2hlipy347 tire size: 23575r15 )”

NHTSA complaint #730355, filed 2000-09

“I'm reporting this because I also had a problem with firestone tires. We were on vacation last april when the truck started shuttering. I stopped and could see the tires misshaped: the belts had come apart on two of the 4 tires. I had them replaced on the next exit (walmart) and before the end of the month I had to replace a third. Last week I replaced the last one, which I still have. ( DOT number: )”
