“This is the 2nd incident involving continental contact tires. We own a Ford Focus 2014 with the continental contact tires. In approximately, february 2015 the left front tire developed a blister. Today, 6/11/15, a blister was noticed on the sidewall of the left rear tire. Ford declined to pay for the tire.”

NHTSA complaint #10724836, filed 2015-06, 3,479 miles

“Had brakes and rotors replaced 4/07/2025 and both repair shops indicated that the front passenger tire is bulging but they state also that these are not in warranty since they were only purchased 11/8/2023 and are an 85,000 mile rated tire which I purchased all new, with balancing and alignment at time of purchase. Mavis where I purchased them refuses to fix this problem stating they aren't in warranty any further which I don't see how when I definitely didn't drive 85,000 miles in less than a year and a half. …”
