NHTSA complaint #11390862, filed 2021-01, 159,229 miles

“Was traveling on a highway. When I set the cruise control I had to push the button 15x for it to engage. After it was set the increase and decrease buttons wouldn't work. When I tried to cancel out cruise control the button did not work. Only way to stop the cruise control was to tap the brakes.”

NHTSA complaint #10839404, filed 2016-03, 86,060 miles

“I was sitting in a drive thru when the engine suddenly revved up and the car lurched forward. The gas pedal was not being pressed at the time, only the brake. I applied more pressure to the brake pedal and the car stopped. The engine continued to rev and then it shut off. When the car was restarted, the check engine light was on. The error code was p061b.”

NHTSA complaint #10538098, filed 2013-08, 96,000 miles

“The car was surging and lurching forward even when the brake was engaged. We had near misses running in to cars in front of us just trying to get it to a safe location as we were stuck in a parking lot and in stop and go traffic. While on the interstate is would just loose almost all power even though the accelerator was floored.”

NHTSA complaint #10459924, filed 2012-05, 114,100 miles

“On 8-2-2010 I had some problems with my car not moving when the gas was pushed, then it wouldn't go on its own. Had to have the throttle body replaced. After that, there were a few times it felt it would do it again. But no problems occurred. Then on 8-4-2011 I had the same problems again and Ford told me it needed another throttle body replaced.”

NHTSA complaint #10420368, filed 2011-08, 64,469 miles
