“As I was driving to the store the power steering service light came on and the service advance trac and it become hard to steer.. So now its parked because dealership said it would cost $1500 to fix which I don't have .. After research most models just 2011 and up have this recall. I think 2010 should also be a recall their are several complaints about it”

NHTSA complaint #11003274, filed 2017-07, 142,300 miles

“I received a recall notice from Ford in february 2018. The Ford dealership in lumberton, nj has never received the parts to fix the defect in the passenger airbag. Is there any Ford dealership that has received the parts? My wife could be in danger when she rides with me.”

NHTSA complaint #11098391, filed 2018-05, 85,000 miles

“Takata recall. I received a postal letter saying the repair is available for recall 16v-384 but two local dealers claim that they can't get the parts. After calling Ford motor they directed me to a dealer more than 70 miles away.”

NHTSA complaint #11164626, filed 2019-01, 55,000 miles

“The takata recall has rendered my front passenger side seat unusable for fear of my passengers being impacted by shrapnel spraying out of what should have been a reliable safety feature. Nearly four months since the issue was discovered there has been no further communication from Ford about a fix. I can't help but feel the safety ratings for these cars are a joke if air bags that behave more like fragmentation grenades are not considered a top priority.”

NHTSA complaint #10911039, filed 2016-10, 50,000 miles

“Takata recall. I just bought a used car only to find out it is under this dangerous and possibly deadly recall. Ford says parts are not available to fix it, and they have no estimate of when they will be. After watching the NHTSA video on the takata problem, this is clearly an unacceptable answer, especially since we bought and older car and live in a hot, humid climate!! I don't want my family members to be at risk of metal parts flying out of the airbag in the event of a crash!”
