NHTSA complaint #11145281, filed 2018-11, 38,000 miles“I was stopped at a stop sign and was hit head on and the air bags never deployed. Damage to my grill, hood, bumper, side panels and driver side door wouldn't open. The impact should have caused my air bags to deploy. It was a hard enough impact that it actually moved my car. Air bags do not work.”
NHTSA complaint #11365298, filed 2020-10, 154,000 miles“Takata recall - I was involved in an accident 1/26/19. Big Ford truck hit me in my passenger side about the middle of the car toward the rear. It sent my car into a complete 360 spin across 2 lanes of traffic. No air bags deployed. My car has been totalled and both insurances dealt with advised me to find out why not. My car currently does not have a takata recall according to website. Possible it should be included.”
NHTSA complaint #11180870, filed 2019-02, 98,000 miles“Takata recall in addition to this recall, I have 2 outstanding recalls with a refusal to work on a misfire and engine issues. My car has shut down with no warning on the road, misfiring with no warning, and no information on these common engine failures was given to me. No proof has been given of issues and am being forced into purchasing a new engine. I have been refused all help and have been waiting about a month for answers.”
