“My car was at idle at the store for less than 5 minutes and went into safe mode the mechanic said my active grill motor went out which caused my head gasket to blow without warning. I owe over $10000 on my car and now I have a $4000 shop bill. My car has never overheated not even at that time so my head gasket shouldn't be blown! Please help!”

NHTSA complaint #11233612, filed 2019-07, 125,000 miles

“The rpms rev and shifting hesitates. Was at a stop light, went to drive off from light and it stalled in intersection as it was stuck in gear and finally went into gear. It slow, hard shifts at usual times. The stalling happens out of the blue. I do not go far because I don't want to have an accident from it stalling in gear! I've put so much money on tranny work, this is ridiculous to not have a safe vehicle and have to worry about being stranded.”

NHTSA complaint #11374587, filed 2020-11, 123,018 miles

“I was in the about to take my wife to work, I applied the brakes went to shift gear and the car got stuck in reverse I tried to shift back to park and I got message on the dash that said 'transmission not in park' so applied the park brake and turned off the car.”

NHTSA complaint #11170302, filed 2019-01, 97,000 miles

“The power steer system went out on my car with no warning , the catalytic converter is going out . This car have caused me more problems than a little. The dealership are full so you can’t get any recall done. This is a bad car and should be off the lots. I can’t get reimbursed for no work I put into this car because I didn’t take it to the dealership. This is unfair to me I work very hard for my money. This is about the third complaint I have sent and no one has responded. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND FORDS.”

NHTSA complaint #11545005, filed 2023-09, 139,683 miles

“The 2015 Fusion had a surge and the car jerked forward. My wife said that happened to her before. When it happened when I was in the car driving it we both looked at each other. This happened to us with the 2010 rav4 and the 2009 sienne that crashed into a tree. Please check this car for a computer problem.”
