“There is a recall on Ford fusions for shifter cable coming loose which occurred to my Fusion I was informed at the Ford dealer that my vehicle was not part of the recall so I had to pay $500 to have it repaired.since this is the same problem on the same year model vehicles in the recall , I think all fusions should be included in recall before some one is in an accident or injured”

NHTSA complaint #11194989, filed 2019-04, 79,228 miles

“Takata recall - I was trying to park my car and as I moved the gear shift to reverse the dash reflected that the car was still in drive. Only way I could get my car to stop was putting on the emergency break. I discovered that there is a recall for this issue recall number 18v471000 but because my VIN number is not listed for the recall Ford dealership refuses to fix it without charge.”

NHTSA complaint #11173082, filed 2019-01, 70,000 miles

“I stopped and put the car in park in order to get out and move a gate, leaving the engine running. When I got back in and tried to shift gears out of park it didn't shift, it moved back and forth without any resistance and the car couldn't move. The engine could still be on. We had it towed to the shop and the mechanic replaced the cable that connects to the transmission.”
