“Car started getting warning that says service AdvanceTrac. Hill assistance not available. It started around March 15th. The lights of the ABS and 2 others come on and then off. I would come into my car and the floor mat on the driver side would be wet no rain or anything outside. Yesterday, brake fluid light came on and breaks went completely out. I have a recall on my vehicle that I’m pretty sure relates to this issue. I’m looking to get repaired”
NHTSA complaint #11519648, filed 2023-04, 158,836 miles“I am informed by Ford, that they do not have them to repair the parts? The car steers incorrectly, pulls to the side. Was happening on highway as well as city driving, and I-95”
NHTSA complaint #11232883, filed 2019-07, 11,000 miles“I bought my 2016 Fusion in january so it is 6 months old. I was driving down the road and had complete brake failure with no prior problems on this brand new car ! I had to use the emergency brake to slow down my car and eventually stop. Also there is a problem with the rear-end suspension, every time I hit a bump no matter how small, it tosses my car to the right. This is very frustrating as I have a new car that I do not feel safe driving that was expensive to buy, but wanted a safe car to transport my newborn in.”
NHTSA complaint #10882839, filed 2016-07, 23,000 miles“The contact owns a 2016 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 40 MPH, the tire went flat on the front passenger's side, and the tire pressure warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken into a parking lot where a spare tire was installed on the vehicle, and it was taken back to the contact's residence. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed with needing a new ball joint and a lower control arm. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. …”
NHTSA complaint #11580006, filed 2024-03, 125,000 miles“Considering your experience of losing total control of the vehicle even while driving slowly while following a snowplow vehicle dispensing road deicer while plowing; I have a strong suspicion that his has happened in 2024 as well when the vehicle had registered a drive issue and the dealership found now existing reason for it. The compacted snow forms a large layer of snow and ice in the wheel wells to the point that it is rubbing on the tires all around the wheel wells. …”
