“Plastic cover on elbow holds water/dust which doesn't drain leaving filler arm constantly damp rusting through pipe leaking gas all over when filling tank....bad design and thought put into this. Item should be recalled, cost to replace at any repair shop is upward of $800.00 canadian.”

The consumer was concerned the if the vehicle was involved in an accident someone may be injured because of the defect with the bolt falling out.”
NHTSA complaint #10022018, filed 2003-06“Consumer states the vehicle engine would stalls intermittently while driving at any speed, vehicle has been to the dealer on three occasions and they are unable to locate the problem. Nlm consumer states steering wheel locks when engine shuts down at high or low speed. Vehicle vibrates at speed over 65 MPH. Wiper make a loud noise at high speeds. Convertible top had rust on portion that connects with front windshield. Vehicle had brake pulsation.”
