“My son was driving on 410 highway when the hood of his 1995 Mustang separated and flew off onto the highway, I thank god he was not hurt nor anyone else. We learned about the hood separation when a friend told us about the recall and we called jennings anderson Ford, they said to bring it and they would replace the hood. My husband recently passed away and we were on our way out of town when the dealer said they would not fix the hood recall because the car had been repaired in an auto accident, the accident did not affect the hood what so ever, please help, thank you.”

NHTSA complaint #10058545, filed 2004-02

“Front end suspension shimmies when driving. Would have lots of play in steering wheel. The temperature guage would run high. The cd player would come on or stop. Would make grinding noise. The door locks on the driver side will not work properly due to power locks not working. The electrical system is not working properly.”

NHTSA complaint #850353, filed 1999-10

“Driver's seat belt is fraying very badly whenever its in use. It would seem to catch onto something when being pulled out to use, and retrack back afterwards. Been to dealer and repaired under warranty 3 years ago. Currently, problem has reappeared. Snice not under warranty, no free repair. Doors do not close properly due to window hitting roof. Roof was repaired under warranty also. This caused window to be out of alignment.”
