“My truck is intermittently having the camera display a warning code. While in reverse or while towing and trying to use the surrounding cameras. It happens randomly and almost caused accidents in parking lots. While towing I use it for lane changes and with non towing mirrors it’s a very dangerous issue that could cause an accident especially on the highway”
NHTSA complaint #11754012, filed 2026-07“Every time I pull the truck into my garage or a parking stall at low speeds while using the front park sensor it will shut off with the automatic start stop while still in motion. Then you have to let off the brake pedal for it to start and sometimes the vehicle will search forward.”
NHTSA complaint #11688722, filed 2025-09“I bought a new GMC, I received 3 vouchers for computer chips to be installed at a later time years ago. They have not provided them. They are selling new fully equipped vehicles with computers chips just fine. Can you handle and have GMC install their backlog of computer chips? There are many safety features that DO NOT work, like parking assit and basically all warnings like when backing up etc. They made me sign a form stating they are not responsible for safety issues stemming from this (our inability to sue) this should be illegal. Thanks.”

The failure mileage was 13,000.”
