Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“My truck is intermittently having the camera display a warning code. While in reverse or while towing and trying to use the surrounding cameras. It happens randomly and almost caused accidents in parking lots. While towing I use it for lane changes and with non towing mirrors it’s a very dangerous issue that could cause an accident especially on the highway”

NHTSA complaint #11754012, filed 2026-07

“Tailgate comes unlatched and tailgate came down multiple times in motion and parked. Safety concerns loosing cargo and causing accidents. My vehicle is not included in the recall and dealer cannot help only repair for 146.80. I feel that my vehicle should be included to the already existing recall and reimbursement for repair.”

NHTSA complaint #11654144, filed 2025-04

“This has now happened twice. While driving down the road, my radio has went to full volume and continues to go back to full volume, even if I twist the volume control knob quickly to lower the volume. This is a very scary situation while driving down the road and your radio goes to 100% volume out of the blue. There is no warning and the volume just goes to 100%”

NHTSA complaint #11611397, filed 2024-08

“While driving the vehicle, the volume on the audio panel shot up to 100%. It caught me off guard and nearly caused me to steer into oncoming traffic. All volume knobs and switches were unresponsive including the power button to the whole unit. I had to pull over and shut off the truck and let it sit for over 10 minutes in order to get it to stop. …”

NHTSA complaint #11555471, filed 2023-11

“Multiple times now my vehicle has had its engine locked up while driving at highway and regular uphill driving. Along with towing aswell. I have had it repaired multiple times and last time dealer wouldn’t tell me what happened because GM wouldn’t let them figure out what happened. Along with multiple attempts at fixing the transmission and brakes that are still on going issue. Same with the engine.”
