Maura Honda citrus heights , they fixed the passenger air bag , and now my car has all kind of electrical problems .”

NHTSA complaint #11325930, filed 2020-05, 306,765 miles

“A female ran a red light speeding at 55 MPH in a 30 MPH zone ripping off my entire bumper putting a dent on the top of my hood on the driver side and my airbag never came out! Before I seen on the news about the recalls, my airbag warning signals always come on and stay on for long periods of time before they go off and this had happen several times!”

NHTSA complaint #10725851, filed 2015-06, 133,220 miles

“Returning home, I struck a parked vehicle in the roadway with substantial damage to my passenger front, suspension & fender. The air bag control module was even broken but no passenger air bag deployment. Very fortunate that no one was in the passenger seat. Serious safety concern & I need to know how this could have happened.!....updated 07/31/14”

NHTSA complaint #10609138, filed 2014-07, 131,239 miles

“Takata recall. Our 2006 Honda Civic has a problem with the airbags. The light indicating airbag failure lit up, so we took it to the dealer who said it needs to be replaced. The previous model years have been recalled, so we wonder why we have to pay for the replacement and why this model year was not recalled.”

NHTSA complaint #10850918, filed 2016-03, 75,000 miles

“We received a recall notice that the passenger air bag could inflate and that it could send out debris that could seriously harm the passenger. No solution was offered until Honda can provide replacement parts. In the meantime, the notice said, do not allow anyone to sit in the passenger seat. That is unacceptable. Honda should provide alternate means of transportation until the problem is fixed in our 2006 Honda Civic.”
