“2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee came with oem goodyear fortera hl 265/50r20 tires. The tires had only 15k miles and were inadequate during even small amounts of rain or snow. The car was constantly losing grip on the road eventually leading to me crashing into a pole going 20 MPH causing $17k in damage.”

The contact stated that the front passenger and driver side tires experienced excessive wear, which caused dips to develop on the tread. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the tires needed to be rotated. The tire rotation was performed; however, the tires continued to wear excessively. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, who after an investigation determined that the failure was inherent to the vehicle. …”
