“As approaching an intersection I began to coast and place my foot on the brake. At the time I started to brake, the vehicle surged forward for 1 second. As I came closer to a stop, the vehicle surged again at which point I had to stand on the brake pedal to prevent me and my family from rear-ending a vehicle and going into a busy intersection.”

NHTSA complaint #11182891, filed 2019-02, 62,000 miles

“Every time I fill up my gas tank my vehicle will stall out. This has been going on for months now. I took it to the dealership and they are telling me this was a known error and chryster has made modifications to the gas tank/vaper lock but I am responsible for the $1600 it will cost to fix it. If this is a known defect, then it should be covered under a recall.”

NHTSA complaint #11218434, filed 2019-06, 61,529 miles

“Car cut off without any warning in traffic. I was almost rear ended. I had to call 911 because I was blocking traffic. Car was towed. It was determined the fuel pump and fuel gauge sender unit needed replacing which is expensive. This car is just 4 years old and I've kept it serviced. If I had been on the interstate I could have been injured. I have receipts.”

NHTSA complaint #11161508, filed 2018-12, 80,850 miles

“After the emissions recall, my Jeep has dangerous lag on acceleration. You press the gas pedal and there is a 3-5 second delay before anything happens. Very dangerous when pulling out of my driveway etc. Additionally the fuel economy has decreased substantially. Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Thanks, mike”

NHTSA complaint #11229187, filed 2019-07, 52,000 miles

“When I went to the gas station on rt. 130 in burlington, the attendant told me my gas cap was broken. I didn't quite understand and thought he meant the gas door since it is sometimes hard to get open. I check this morning to see what he meant and my gas cap was laying in the behind the gas door. I have a capless system. No need to twist. I don't know how it broke. I can only say the attendance told me it was broken before he filled up my tank.”
