“We started our vacation drive to florida june 9, 2019 when we got to florida june 11, 2019 we got a message that popped up on our vehicle that said service shifter. We were really upset because we just bought the vehicle on june 6, 2019. The dealership wants us to pay a $250 deductible for the issues we are having with it. This should be covered under our warranty.”

I had taken it in to our local mechanic he said the head needs to be replaced there is a current recall and extended warranty out now with the same problems but our Jeep is not on the VIN list (pentastar tic) is what our mechanic called it.”

“After the emissions recall, my Jeep has dangerous lag on acceleration. You press the gas pedal and there is a 3-5 second delay before anything happens. Very dangerous when pulling out of my driveway etc. Additionally the fuel economy has decreased substantially. Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Thanks, mike”

NHTSA complaint #11229187, filed 2019-07, 52,000 miles

“I have took my vehicle for a shifter recall. They did a programming they said and that it should have fixed the problem. I explained to chrysler capital about how my vehicle would shift into neutral after throwing itself into other gears. I would have to turn off the vehicle and begin driving again. Now my vehicle hardly drives and the transmission makes a loud cracking noise. This recall made my transmission go out.”

NHTSA complaint #11394320, filed 2021-02, 5 miles

“I recently did the emissions recall update for the ecodiesel. Since the update I have had very abrupt shifting and noticeably bad turbo lag. When I pull out sometimes I don't get up to speed in time because the lag is so.bad bad from my pedal to the engine. Lastly now that is a little colder outside I have noticed when the car shifts from 2nd gear to 1st gear it does so very abruptly and alarmingly.”
