“Vehicle auto start and stop function warning then a voltage warning telling me vehicle was going to turn off, while I was in motion, it shut off almost immediately leaving me with no steering or brakes and the vehicle was in the middle of the driving lane. No power to seats, trunk, etc shifter is in drive but vehicle will not move or turn on.”

NHTSA complaint #11397236, filed 2021-02, 83,000 miles

“I am the original owner for 10 months. Several times over the last ten months, when stopped and then depressing the gas pedal fully without cruise control or launch control engaged, the throttle continues to accelerate even though my foot is removed fully from the gas pedal. It forces you to put the car in neutral and brake until the throttle becomes unstuck and the rpms of the engine come back down. …”

NHTSA complaint #11133589, filed 2018-10, 12,400 miles

“Sitting in my driveway waiting for my daughter, vehicle was in park on a very, very small incline - almost flat. Within a minute of sitting there, it started to coast/move backwards. I had to put my foot on the brake to stop it from going onto the road.”

NHTSA complaint #11384339, filed 2020-12, 47,000 miles

“I stopped on my driveway which is at about a 20 degree angle. Placed the vehicle in park and left the engine running. I did not apply the parking brake. I exited the vehicle in order to change drivers and left the door open. The vehicle started to roll backwards slowly. I jumped in and hit the brakes. I confirmed vehicle shift selector was in park. I repeated the same thing the next day to test this but of course I stayed in the vehicle with the door shut and the same thing happened. …”

NHTSA complaint #10949989, filed 2017-02, 300 miles

“Vehicle transmission locked up in the middle of a parking lot could not move the car forward or backward nor could I move the gear shifter from drive to park or neutral... I was also unable to get the vehicle to shut off which in itself could be a safety issue if I was in my garage. The vehicle needed to be towed back to the dealership. Dashboard read: service shifter - stop safely, shut off engine to engage park -- please note that we followed the instructions and we were unable to turn the vehicle off and/or get it into park.”
