“My 2018 jcg altitude edition with 16000 miles has been having issues with radio and navigation. Cjdr replaced stereo system which fixed the navigation issue but now radio turns up and down on own. Took car in today and there is no fix. They told me when it occurs to turn my car off and then back on which will help it temporarily. The period of which it will help is less than 1 minute before it repeats the volume issue. However this is not acceptable. Vehicle has been shifting very hard and lunging forward without foot on gas, they 're-flashed' my Jeep twice. …”

“While driving around a curve, steering control went out and traction control kicked on. This caused an inability to properly control the vehicle. Traction control pulled vehicle into the side of the road and caused a minor accident.”

NHTSA complaint #11114474, filed 2018-07, 5,835 miles

“The vehicle is brand new and a few months after purchasing it the vehicle would shut down electrically (twice while driving) and the steering wheel and brakes would lock up. Since purchasing the vehicle in november of 2017 I have had 4 to 5 separate occasions where the vehicle had to be towed to the dealership in Jeep/chrysler in libertyville, illinois. I made verbal complaints after the second and third time. I was told after the last issue the problem was resolved and no more issues would occur, about 10 months later the issue has occured once again for a fourth time. …”

NHTSA complaint #11194861, filed 2019-04

“The contact owns a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated while driving 40 MPH, the engine revved but the vehicle hesitated while accelerating. However, the contact stated that the vehicle accelerated after removing the foot off the accelerator pedal. The contact stated that the Service Electronic Stabili-trak warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer to be diagnosed. The dealer determined that the traction control sensor needed to be replaced. The sensor was replaced; however, the failure recurred. …”
