NHTSA complaint #10714664, filed 2015-05, 61,000 miles“I tried to make a u turn road was narrow so I had to back up and got stuck in the snow . I rocked it back and forth a few times and then we noticed smoke and fire coming out from under the hood .we got out of the vehicle and within 10 minutes the whole Jeep was on fire! There was no damage to the vehicle when I got stuck not a clew why this vehicle would have started on fire.”
NHTSA complaint #10564682, filed 2014-02, 87,000 miles“Gas tank overflows when fueling because it doesn't sense when its full. I have to stop fueling before I think its full so this doesn't happen, so I am unable to fill tank completely. Spills all over my clothes, on the ground and down the side of my vehicle. Also I smell an electrical burning smell when I'm driving my vehicle sometimes which is very scary.”
