“I was provided a notice of an airbag recall over two years ago on a three year old vehicle. The dealers says they have been waiting for parts. I have called mercedes national and they said there is nothing I can do. It appears nothing is happening and no one has a solution yet I drive a vehicle everyday all day that could explode on me and send metal fragments into my face and neck. This is stressfull and I have send a letter to my family members to document this and sue all involved if I end up passing away over this while waiting in limbo. …”

“Takata recall. The contact owns a 2014 Mercedes-Benz SPRINTER 2500. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16v077000 (air bags). The part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Vin tool confirms parts not available.”
