“My car will start, slowing down while I am driving. I called Nissan on several things concerning this car. Nissan has not had a recall on their 2008-2010 Rogue yet. 2008 is the 1st generation of this vehicle. I have had engine cradle problems, control arm problems. These car makers need to be held accountable for their product.”

NHTSA complaint #11150735, filed 2018-11, 101,150 miles

“While driving at varied speed the Rogue will refuse to accelerate and the rpms will rise, but the car will not go no matter how far you press the accelerator down. This has happened countless times and when I research online it seems to be a common and known issues with rogues of this year. I have had several near collisions due to this issues.”

NHTSA complaint #10894154, filed 2016-08, 68,000 miles

“I was driving down hunt highway going 45 miles per hour when I started to come up a hill and the car came to a near complete stop with no warning because the transmission binding up causing me to almost be rear ended and my tires to skid a little till I pushed on the brakes to try and warn people behind me and had to exit the roadway into a dirt farm field to avoid being hit by oncoming traffic.”

NHTSA complaint #10706182, filed 2015-04, 133,000 miles

“My car had a lost power driving back from rocky mountain national park and I was forced to pull over and turn off my car it started up and I was able to make it back safe but I think it has something to do with the CVT. I really sucks and I don't feel safe driving my car right now.”

NHTSA complaint #10846370, filed 2016-03, 94,000 miles

“Started vehicle and drove well. Stopped at an intersection and when it was my turn to go car rpms were high but car wouldn't move. The light change and I found myself in the middle of the intersection and car would not move. I took my foot of gas and then it just sped up and I had to use the breaks to make it slow down. Also it would slowdown in the middle of the highway which is dangerous cause speed limit was 70mph and I couldn't move the car to get it out of the way.”
