“The seatbelt occupant sensor goes off when I am in motion and there is no one in my back seat. Sometimes, when I place items like groceries or other personal belongings in my backseat and begin driving it reads as a person and the system begins to warn me that the seat belts are not connected. Other times, there will be an actual person sitting in the backseat without their seatbelt on and the system will not warn me while driving. This is extremely dangerous and annoying. …”

“The first problem: the car has acceleration delays, it bucks and lags when switching lanes and driving in heavy traffic. The car jerks when accelerating at slow speeds. I almost got into a serious accident due to the acceleration delays when making a left in heavy traffic. The second problem is, I received a vehicle alert message on may 30th at 10:30am regarding the srs airbag system. A malfunction in the srs airbag system has been detected. Contact your Toyota dealer to have your vehicle inspected. …”

NHTSA complaint #11339020, filed 2020-07, 3,000 miles

“Back middle seat belt is not clicking into lock. I am unable to buckle my sons carseat into the middle seat because the belt will not latch. I had this issue in my previous Camry that ended getting totaled so I never had time to file the complaint. But I have it on video. If my child would of been in the car accident with my in my old car, he would of ended up out the front windshield due to a faulty seat belt. This is now the second Toyota Camry xse that has the same issue. Please address this before a child gets seriously injured.”
