“This car's fuel efficiency is atrocious. It was advertised as 16-22 mpg but I have never been able to get more than 11 mpg on the highway, it's lower around town. 12 mpg around town. I've taken it in to chevy dealerships and maintenance shops and they say there is nothing they can do. I've owned previous suburbans with 30 gallon gas tanks and can go 600 mikes on a full tank of gas. However, I have to stop for gas with this car after 325-350 miles. It's terrible, especially in long trips. …”
NHTSA complaint #11322755, filed 2020-04, 35,000 miles“Stopped at a stop sign. The vehicle suddenly lost all electrical power. Lights began flashing. Traction control system turned off and on. Then it went back to normal driving. I just had the Chassis Control Module Recall taken care of as well. The air conditioning is intermittently cutting its ability to cool then suddenly cooling again during this time. When the vehicle turned back on, the strong odor of fuel was present from the air vents. I had reported the issue before but was told by a dealer there is nothing wrong they could see beyond a visual inspection.”
