“Vehicle accelerator jammed while slowly backing vehicle (rear end first) into home garage at around 12:15 p.m. On december 17, 2019. Vehicle and passengers were thrown back into the garage wall at a high speed causing vehicle and property damage. On form below, I estimated 1 MPH, but it may have been less as I was slowly backing vehicle into home garage.”

“While driving down the road, my vehicle stated that it was not in park out of no where, and i was driving 35 -40 miles per hour. No doors were open, it was me and my twin boys age 2 in car seats. It then decided to stop in the road. The vehicle shut off. I turned on my hazards and had to try to restart my vehicle. Almost getting in an accident. Got it restarted and pulled it over. I was terrified. …”

NHTSA complaint #11500551, filed 2023-01

“Vehicle has continually shifted roughly, but beginning last year it stalled while coming to a stop. We replaced the battery and removed the auxillary battery that controls the automatic start/stop and had no issues for almost a year. Approximately a week ago, the vehicle began to stall again when coming to a stop, and giving a message stating to service shifter. It has happened multiple times since. There was a lawsuit for this model regarding the crankshaft position sensor, but we are only reimbursed if we have paid for repairs. Can you help?”
