“Had recall 66B software update done for rear view camera not working, did not fix the issue. Backup camera still not working. Need to know what next steps are to get it fixed. Chrysler is saying I have to pay for diagnostics. Can you please help me with this issue. First recall notice was September 2024 but there was no fix at that time.”

NHTSA complaint #11674185, filed 2025-07

“The power liftgate safety detection has failed numerous times, hiting both myself and my husband on our heads with the full force of the liftgate closing. It is not detecting an obstruction in the way and going back up again, this is incredibly dangerous - I was hurt quite badly today.”

NHTSA complaint #11726234, filed 2026-03

“I had the recall done on my van for the backup camera. After the update was completed my van continues to not work. The screen does not come on and the backup camera does not come on when in reverse. It does not happen all the time. I took it back to the dealership and all they could say was that I needed a new camera. That does not make sense to me because the entire screen would not come on including the radio or camera.”

NHTSA complaint #11672214, filed 2025-07

“We took our 2021 Pacifica Hybrid to the dealership for Recall 52D. The first charge at home after the recall melted one of the charging pins in the car, and on our home Level 2 charger. Our dealership now says it's the fault of our charger, and we'll have to pay $2000+ for a repair. Our charger handle is still fine, no damage, only the pin is melted. For safety reasons, we can't charge the vehicle, and aren't driving it, as it's still at the dealership.”

NHTSA complaint #11754395, filed 2026-08

“There is currently a recall on my vehicle. They offer a sensor to let you know that your vehicle is going to shut off so you can pull off of the road. There currently is no fix. I have contacted Chrysler and the dealer for a buyback and neither will take responsibility to buy back this car. This is a travesty. I do not feel safe in a vehicle under these circumstances and ask that Chrysler be made accountable.”
