“The transmission cooling lines are leaking on my wife's 2014 Chrysler Town And Country touring and I've look this up online there are plenty of complaints but there has not been a recall on this problem yet I am wondering why there has not been a recall issued for this problem when it is an ongoing problem with these cars”

NHTSA complaint #11072432, filed 2018-02, 69,000 miles

“My 2014 Chrysler Town And Country shut off while I was which resulted the steering locking up, and giving me no control.to stop or control the car;. It has happened on 3 different occasions with my wife and child in the car as well as myself driving.this is very dangerous and I am very worried it is going to cause my wife and my children to be in an accident. Something needs to be done about this, it is a very serious problem!”

NHTSA complaint #10808159, filed 2015-12, 3,000 miles

“My van started making a whining noise on my way to work. On the way home I was sitting at a red light and when I pressed the gas pedal the van would not move. It eventually jerked off and I was able to get across the light without being involved in a serious car accident. The van started idling up but would not speed up. Thank goodness I was able to get home. I was so glad my babies were not in the van with me. This is a very dangerous defect in transmission. I had absolutely no warning my transmission was about to go out.”

NHTSA complaint #11309578, filed 2020-02, 66,000 miles

“The accelerator jammed at full throttle as we were making a right turn. There was nothing depressing the accelerator, but the engine was racing at full speed. The light was red, so I was forced to used the brakes to keep from hitting the car stopped at the light in front of us. The brakes weren't going to hold the vehicle back for long, so I shifted into neutral and turned off the engine. When I turned it back on the accelerator was still stuck at full throttle. …”
