“There is a recall for the power steering pressure line for Dodge Journey 2009 to 2016 . When subjected to cold weather the power steering line can rupture at start up. That is exactly what happened to our 2009 Dodge Journey this past winter and the line split open. Dodge is telling us that our vehicle VIN number does not fall under that recall.”

NHTSA complaint #11222234, filed 2019-06, 93,799 miles

“After setting outside this past winter my car sat outside. With winters passing I'm experiencing the problem described in s08. My power steering return hoses have ruptured. My power steering fluid is leaking terribly and I'm having to replace it daily. My VIN is ...9t133353. I'm 100% certain that chrysler/Dodge has missed some vins in this issue.”
