“I bought my 2014 Dodge Journey a few months ago and everything was fine then my airbag light came on. The my check engine light came on and it became sluggish and jerky. I have a 4 year old son that is in this vehicle everyday. I am contacting you to find out if there are any recalls that I need to have taken care of. Thanks”

NHTSA complaint #11118790, filed 2018-08, 115,000 miles

“My vehicle started flashing the airbag light any time I would turn right, now it stays on at all times. When calling my local dealer, I was informed that they sell nearly 20 clock springs of the same part number a week. If this many of the same part is being sold, clearly there is an issue with the original part.”

NHTSA complaint #11003965, filed 2017-07, 50,000 miles

“Passenger headrest deployed. The vehicle was sitting in the driveway and my toddler was getting into his sit when it just popped out. I took the vehicle in for recalls and asked about it but the vehicle was past it's warranty and since it is not a recall they wanted $600 plus to replace it. Upon further inspection, it was a plastic piece that just broke overtime. Aprox mileage at the time was around 32,000.”

NHTSA complaint #11140827, filed 2018-10, 32,000 miles

“Driver's head rest air bag blew out when no one was in the car. The car was stationary in the driveway. We were just getting in the car and noticed it. That would have turned out very good if my wife was driving. I have photos if they are necessary.”

NHTSA complaint #11372858, filed 2020-11, 65,000 miles

“I have taken my vehical to the dealership because the air bag sensor keeps turning off and on. When I get there it off. The say they can not replicate the problem.. I am afraid the airbag is going to deploy while I am driving. Next the power that control the radio amd bluetooh will justbstop working while driving. The screen will go black and then power cycle itself as if I just turn the car on. I believe there is a major electrical problem.”
