“I was driving straight when the vehicle 2 cars ahead of me slammed on their brakes at a green light. I rear ended the car in front of me going approximately 45mph head on, causing major front end damage. Neither of the front airbags deployed. The car was totaled.”
NHTSA complaint #11080003, filed 2018-03, 10,000 miles“There bag light has come on at about 35,000 miles and has not went off. The A/C and heat keeps coming on whenever it wants no matter how many times I turn it off I have went up to Dodge multiple times and nothing has happened as I am over the 30,000 miles and to be charged 200 just to see what the problem is and then charge me even to fix it is ridiculous. The airbag light came on while I was driving and I pulled over and turned the car and turned it back on and it was still on”
NHTSA complaint #11269604, filed 2019-10, 35,000 miles“Other driver ran red light causing me to hit them at an intersection. I was traveling 40mph. My air bags did not deploy. Front of my vehicle was totaled.”

NHTSA complaint #11063202, filed 2018-01, 4,300 miles“One month after purchasing the 2017 Dodge Journey the airbag light came on while driving the vehicle. Took the vehicle to a certified Dodge dealer and they informed us that the airbag wireing harness located under the drivers front seat was faulty. The told us the airvagwireing harness is not covered under any warranty and that the new replacement airbag wireing harness would cost around $800. The airbag light still goes on & off randomly while the vehicle is being driven. It doesn't matter if it is being driven straight or on curves or turning. …”
