“I got in my car to find a 12” long crack in the windshield. Upon inspection, I noticed a small chip in the top black part of the windshield that appears to have caused the crack. I had driven it the previous day and was not aware anything had hit the windshield. It has been extremely cold and the vehicle was exposed to snow. The crack is so large that it impedes the drivers line of sight and cannot be repaired. The windshield needs to be replaced and the ADAS needs recalibration. Clearly the part is faulty or the design is faulty, but this windshield is impacting safe driving.”

“I was driving on the highway, when I got a small crack in the windshield on the passenger side. When I was able to stop and inspect the vehicle, there a crack about an inch long. A few hours later after I returned home, I went to retrieve something from the car and noticed the crack had spread to about 6 inches long. I called Ford customer service to make a complaint. I called the dealership a couple of days later and the service department informed it would not be covered under warranty if there is any indication it is something other than a stress fracture. …”

“I purchased my 2022 Ford Bronco Sport in February last year. Approximately two months after purchasing it, my windshield was cracked and it was replaced. Approximately three months after replacing it, a rock hit it while I was driving on the highway and it cracked again. Both times, the crack spread across the whole windshield. My co-worker went to her car at our job, came back into the building and asked me if I knew my car rear window was broken. I went to my vehicle and found my rear window was totally shattered. My supervisor reviewed our video surveillance footage and saw nothing. …”

“The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated that the side door mirrors had degraded, impairing visibility while driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where an unknown recall was performed; however, the side door mirrors were not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 5,200.”

NHTSA complaint #11577378, filed 2024-03, 5,200 miles

“There are at least three separate chips on windshield caused by very small gravel on different occasions. The windshield should not be chipping so easily. The most recent happened yesterday and immediately spread. The cost of these windshields are pricey due to rain sensors. integrity of windshield seems compromised for whatever manufacturing reason. Recall?”
