“Have a 2012 Ford EDGE sport with pirelli 22 scorpion zero tires which came stock on the vehicle. I have had 3 side wall blow outs causing tire failure. I do not understand why a recall has yet to be issued seems to be a problem with other vehicles with these tires.”

NHTSA complaint #10544057, filed 2013-09, 11,000 miles“2012 Ford EDGE. Consumer writes in regards to rear brake problems and several other vehicle issues. The door ajar light sensor was inoperative and the inside lights would not go off. Also, the vehicle made a loud electrical humming noise and would shut off. The sound would last anywhere from 10-30 minutes, the radio would not turn off and the remote start would only work in the afternoon. Also,the low tire pressure light illuminated.”
