I looked at the right side brake line and it apparently had burst brake fluid was leaking I had to get my car towed to the Ford dealership”
NHTSA complaint #11399363, filed 2021-03, 93,000 miles“The recall on my vehicle (described) is for the possibility of a hydraulic brake line to rupture, I have been waiting for months and the parts I am told are not available?? Should I just park the car for months waiting? Or can something be done to wake Ford motor company up? I already had my brake line fail and I had to pay for the repair, this is insane”
NHTSA complaint #11385939, filed 2020-12, 28,000 miles“Vehicle in motion on city street brake fluid warning system went off. Pulled over and found out brake fluid reservoir was completely dry. Took it to heritage Ford in corydon, in as there is a recall for this from sept. 2020 but no parts available. They have said 3 days to repair only one brake line and we have to pay out of pocket, no rental car. We called Ford corporate office and are advised of the same.”
NHTSA complaint #11407716, filed 2021-04, 55,850 miles“I was driving and I stepped on the brakes to turn the corner, and they made an air releasing noise and did not slow me down, they went completely out! I have brand new brakes. I took it to the repair shop and it was the brake booster system. Thank god this happened in a parking lot and not on the street!”
