“I keep getting a dash alert that the trailer is connected when I don't have a trailer hooked up along with a messege that states blind spot &cross traffic alert deactivated, trailer attatched. This occurred on several different occasions within several weeks”

NHTSA complaint #11726532, filed 2026-03

“Waiting in line at drive through and had my foot on the brake and my car surged forward hitting the car in front of me and they hit the car in front of them. I found no recall on my 2020 Edge titanium but this surge has happened before.”

NHTSA complaint #11440692, filed 2021-11

“I just bought this vehicle with a broken powertrain, torque converter, and warped rotors. These cars are mechanics special that should only be $2,000. Since it's a 2020 it is being sold for $18,800. It can be repossessed for a crap shoot car. Before this I bought a 2016 Buick Enclave with also a broken torque converter issues. The engineers in car industry have failed. I would rather buy an older pre 2015 mechanics special for $1,200-$2,400, NOT $12,000-$18,800 for a POS drivetrain and transmission. A recall needs to be mandated for all these cars. Stiffing the consumer is unethical. …”

“When backing up in the morning the brakes squeak and the camera goes blank when turning on the car or backing up and collision warning is coming on when no collision. And the car jerks when sitting at light, stop sign etc. According to your records this vehicle has no recalls please check your records and get back to me.”

NHTSA complaint #11579871, filed 2024-03

“The contact owns a 2020 Ford Edge. The contact stated while she was depressing the brake pedal to slow the vehicle down in order to park but the brake pedal traveled the floorboard. The vehicle failed to stop and crashed into a wall where it came to a stop. The contact mentioned that the Forward Collision Avoidance/Emergency Automatic Braking failed to detect that the wall was in front and prevent the collision. The contact sustained minor injuries that did not require medical attention. …”
