“EGR cooler faulty; the year this vehicle was manufactured in 2019 has an active recall with this same issue; however because my vehicle in the same year; 2019, was manufactured in a different time bracket Ford will not honor said repair. Leaving me with an extended warranty whom will not cover said repair also. $1800(+) out of pocket expense. Any insight on how one is too challenge this?”

NHTSA complaint #11579764, filed 2024-03

“rear camera keeps going blue and then will go out. But it will come back for a day or so and then go out again. I know this is a known problem on these vehicles and I need mine fixed. As well as the purge valve that has also been a known issue as well”

NHTSA complaint #11743134, filed 2026-06

“I bought the vehicle and have had major mechanical issues with it I have replaced the motor and the full exhaust system I am having powertrain issues as well. I feel as though ford she be held accountable for all of the issues the ford edges have being they all have the same issues this should not be legal. I got this vehicle to help me build my credit and now it's hurting my credit because I can't keep up with the car payments from all the major repairs that I have had to do on a 2020 vehicle. …”

NHTSA complaint #11700989, filed 2025-11

“This is my wife’s car, I have already had to replace the evap hoses on this car twice due to faulty motor craft purge valves. I also replaced the charcoal canister before the second time I replaced the evap hoses so somewhere in the system there is a faulty part. Now at 80,000 miles my wife’s car is experiencing what many others are calling “shuddering”. How am I supposed to get anywhere in life when I just paid this car off and now I need a new transmission after I have done all services as specified by manufacturer.”

NHTSA complaint #11742403, filed 2026-06

“At around 47,000 miles (April 27, 2024) my car would not move when I put it in reverse to leave my house that day, the engine would just rev and it would not get into the reverse gear. Then warning light came on for the power train so I called the dealership and had it towed to their service department. They said they had to completely rebuild my transmission and it took them almost a month to complete the repairs. (May 6th, while the car was at the dealership , I received several engine warnings from my Ford app. …”
